What is the selection process and criteria for the Cochlear Americas “Give Back” Commitment Donation Program?
For Cochlear’s cochlear implants: In celebration of the achievement of the Have You Heard? Million Ear Challenge Cochlear Americas is donating two cochlear implants and will work with a local organization to select and donate to qualified candidates. For the processor upgrades and accessories: Cochlear Americas wants to donate these processor upgrades and accessories available to those who need them and who best demonstrate a commitment to increasing hearing loss awareness during Better Hearing and Speech month (BHSM). To help Cochlear select the appropriate recipients of these donations, Cochlear requires certain information to be submitted on its donation application forms. Those individuals and organizations to receive the available donated items will be selected based upon a variety of criteria including identified financial need and/or unique circumstances indicating a need for the donated item coupled with the originality and creativity of BHSM activities conducted during May, an
