What is the selection method for flanges in piping system for oil & gas or chemical industry?
It is depands up on the type of piping which u have selected. Mostly you can select raised face flanges.It will reduce the size of the gasket which u r going to consume on it. And it will give a correct contact b/w two flanges.One more thing is you can very well select butain rated flanges for with standing high pressure.
