Regrettably energy is required to create the magnet. This energy can be extracted form the magnet as the ordered magnetisable elements that go to make it up are used. The “free” energy is not free but some people claim that this magnetic energy is somehow free. But if we started with a randomly organized magnetic material and then energized it in a field to align the elements and create a magnet – energy is required to do so. This energy can be reclaimed by using the magnets force to create motion. Sorry no such thing as the SEG electron cycle or Vacuum energy.
