What is the Seeds of Reading Program?
The Seeds of Reading Program is a beginning-to-read program for ages 3 to 5. It establishes the roots of reading by focusing on children’s foundational skills. It is a set of 18 fun and engaging, clearly sequenced, age appropriate games that allow very young children to learn in the ways that they learn best: manipulating with their hands, through play and by loving interaction with their families and the adults in their lives. Like seeds planted in the garden in the spring which flower throughout the summer when conditions are right, the Seeds of Reading Program allows children to bloom into reading at a time that is right for them.
