What is the Security Phrase?
The Security Phrase is used to help you identify San Francisco Federal Credit Union’s Online Banking as a legitimate site. The text word or phrase you select will be converted to an image. When you log into Online Banking, you will see the Security Phrase with San Francisco Federal Credit Union watermark logo behind it. The Security Phrase must be 6 to 20 alphanumeric characters and CANNOT contain < > / \ ; ” ‘ ( ). If you don’t recognize your Security Phrase, don’t enter your Online Banking Password.
The Security Phrase is used to help you identify that you are connected to the legitimate BFSFCU Online Banking site. The text word you select will be converted to an image. Each time you log into Online Banking and are prompted for your password, you will see the Security Phrase with a watermark logo behind it. Should you ever encounter an image or phrase other than your Security Phrase, please discontinue the login, close your browser session immediately, and contact a Member Service Representative at memberservices@bfsfcu.org or via phone at (202) 458-4300 or 1 (800) 9-BFSFCU.
