What is the Scramble?
The Scramble is the period of time during which unmatched or partially matched applicants attempt to obtain positions in unfilled programs. The Scramble begins at noon eastern time on Tuesday of Match Week after the Dynamic List of Unfilled Programs is posted to the NRMP Web site. Applicants who contact programs prior to noon eastern time on Tuesday of Match Week are in breach of the Match Participation Agreement.

Applicants who contact programs prior to noon eastern time on Tuesday of Match Week are in breach of the Match Participation Agreement.
