What is the scope of political science?
Political Science teaches several things: – different political ideologies, about how different countries have different systems (democracies, monarchies, dictatorships, communism, fascism, etc.) and what the rights of the individual are. – how a person can aspire to rise in the ranks or affect change under their particular system – how a country’s system affects its relations with its neighbors, the world – how organizations, such as the UN, NATO, NGO’s can help to promote peace – history and how the study of it can avoid past mistakes I think that everyone should take at least a few courses in Political Science in order to understand how other countries have evolved the way they have and to have their eyes opened to ways of promoting peace and to helping out others in need.
