Human right-brain is 1,000,000 times more powerful in remembering than the left-brain. Eidetic imagery (EI) is the ability to retain an exact copy of a picture in one’s right-brain after seeing it. People capable of eidetic memory are therefore able to “see” and describe an image in great detail after that original image has been removed from their sight. Eidetic imagery exists commonly in children and diminishes after puberty. Kids from 6 to 12 years of age exhibits highest degree of EI. Since Chinese characters are picturesque, we build learning materials which combine actual pictures and Chinese characters together. Because of the capability of EI, students will be able to remember Chinese characters much faster and easier.
