What is the school closings / inclement weather policy?
If inclement weather suggests hazardous driving conditions, Sacred Heart School’s schedule may be affected. Please listen to the radio or TV for an announcement of Omaha Catholic Schools, which includes Sacred Heart. Do not call the school. If weather requires a late start or school closing, staff will not be at the school on time and will not be able to answer your call. In the event weather conditions make travel to school hazardous and unsafe, but Sacred Heart does not close, it is recommended that parents use their discretion in bringing children to school. If weather conditions become bad during the school day, parents are asked to listen to the radio and TV stations for an announcement that schools are closing early. School closings may also be obtained from KETV, KMTV, and WOWT television stations and their web sites as well as on KFAB 1100 on the radio.
