What is the Scholastic Read for The World Record?

In 2009, Scholastic Book Fairs created a great Read For the World Record program and this year Scholastic is taking it company wide. This summer, students and schools are invited to join the Scholastic Summer Challenge in an attempt to set a new world record. Kids choose books they want to read, then log their reading minutes at www.scholastic.com/summer. Records that are set will be published in the 2011 edition of the Scholastic Book of World Records!
