What is the schedule for a typical PLC Comprehensive Exam?
Most Comprehensive Exams take about 6-7 hours, depending on what electives or options are included in your exam. Your day starts with drawing your blood tests followed by your Heart and CT Scans (and Virtual Colonoscopy, if that is included in your exam). We offer a light breakfast (juice, muffins, fruit salad, oatmeal, yogurt are available) once these are completed. The remainder of the morning includes meeting with your physician to review your medical history in detail and a thorough physical exam. A treadmill test will evaluate your heart function and help to measure your aerobic capacity. The exam also includes a resting electrocardiogram, pulmonary function tests, bone densitometry, body composition analysis, audiometry and visual acuity screening. After your testing is completed you will enjoy a healthy and delicious lunch at Tre Piani Restaurant.
