What is the Salt Spring Community Education Fund?
A – The Salt Spring Community Education Fund is a non-profit society with a mission to marshal and provide resources for lifelong learning by Salt Spring residents of all ages. We raise funds and award grants in support of exceptional and inspiring educational enrichment opportunities for residents of all ages. Q – How does the Fund raise money? A – We raise money seeking donations from individuals, businesses and charitable Funds. We also hold an annual book sale. Q – What kind of project or activity would be considered for funding? A – We typically look for educational programs and projects that would bring a clear benefit to the community, but that are outside the scope of school and village budgets.
