What is the saliva sample for?
We measure the amount of cotinine in your body. When you smoke, your body produces cotinine. Measuring cotinine levels helps us determine how nicotine-addicted you are. Cotinine is the only thing your saliva is tested for. Your saliva sample results will be completely confidential. Most take place in the University Health Center. back to top When do counseling sessions take place? Counseling sessions are scheduled at your convenience. Most are held on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. We can make special arrangements to schedule sessions around your class or work schedule. We want
