What is the salem witch trials?
Witch! Witch! The Salem With Trials took place in Massachusetts between 1692 and 1693. From June to September of 1692 nineteen people, men and women, were hanged for conviction of witchcraft. One man, Giles Corey, was pressed to death with stones upon his refusal to admit his so-called guilt. Puritan conspirators created a deadly frenzy of false accusations that were later recounted and admitted by many of the judges and parishioners in the village.
