What is the SaffireControl PRO software for?
The SaffireControl PRO software is designed to allow the hardware setting controls not present on the hardware itself to be accessed, as well as providing a host of different monitoring options. There is an Input Mix section where all 10 Input levels can be set, to create an Input Mix that can be blended with backing tracks from the sequencer on the four pairs of analogue outputs and the S/PDIF output. There are also controls for setting the sample rate, synchronizing the hardware to an external source and extensive level controls for all outputs. The software can be shrunk down to reduced formats and made to float over the top of the sequencer so the settings can always be viewed/edited.
