What is the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test?

0

Answer – The SAFE Act requires licensees to pass both the national and state components of the SAFE MLO Test. The national component, once passed, satisfies all States. However, the applicant must also pass the Maryland state component to satisfy the Maryland MLO licensing requirements. Maryland is NOT certifying testing, since Maryland did not require a test before the passage of the SAFE Act.
