SAFC Foundation, the registered charity of Sunderland Football Club, was established in November 2001 to demonstrate a serious commitment to the community by Sunderland Association Football Club. SAFC Foundation is managed by a board of trustees: Lord Puttnam of Queensgate CBE, Sir Tim Rice, The Bishop of Durham, Kate Adie OBE, Steve Cram MBE and Bob Murray CBE.
