What is the rush to sign up members?
Over the next six months, Municipal Council, the CNSC, other Federal Agencies and Ministries, as well as the Ontario Ministry of Environment and the County of Northumberland are all going to be looking at the Cameco SEU application and making decisions that will impact the quality of life of residents of Northumberland County and more specifically Port Hope. Paul Macklin, M.P., during the recent Federal election commented that he would only support a call for a comprehensive panel review if there was “significant public interest” in a full and comprehensive review of the Cameco application.
