What is the ruling on excessive (say greater that 5) ball boucing by the server prior to serving when the receiver is in place to receive the ball?

Ball bouncing, if excessive, can be regarded as time-wasting. If the receiver is clearly uncomfortable with it the referee should apply rule 17 and start with a warning. Personally I believe it is an unfair practise which can be used to upset (unfairly) an opponent. Regards Don Category: 06.
