What is the RSS 2011 System Restore feature and what does it do?
The RSS Pro 2011 System Restore feature is based on the Windows Volume Copy Shadow service with some additional capabilities not available in the native implementation included as part of Windows. And as the name of the feature implies, it is there to allow the user to return their computer to an earlier period in time AND to support the restoration of selective files from a previous computer state following a full System restore, regardless of whether Windows or RVS was responsible for invoking that restore. NOTE: The System Restore feature contains advanced functionality that does not always require the user to interact with restore points manually through the RSS 2011 System Restore tab. Typically, the software will automatically detect when a Full Restore or File Recovery is needed through the Real-Time Restore analysis feature and will suggest the appropriate option to the user via the System Requires Attention alert in the Protection status warning panel on the Home > Overview ta
