The Trail will enter Saskatchewan from Manitoba in Duck Mountain Provincial Park. It will proceed through Kamsack, Canora, Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park then Yorkton, Melville, Crooked Lake, Fort Qu’Appelle, Regina and Moose Jaw. In Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, north of Moose Jaw, it will branch north and south. The south branch will travel on the east side of Old Wives Lake to Mossbank then south west towards the Grasslands National Park, Eastend and Cypress Hills to join with the Trail from Alberta. The northern route will follow the Qu’Appelle Valley to Lake Diefenbaker, then to Saskatoon. The Trail will then head north west to The Battlefords then on to Meota, Vawn and Paradise Hill.
