What is the Rotary Well?
Located on S. Main Street just north of the Northville Chamber of Commerce is an old well with running water. This well is a landmark for the Northville community, and is used by residents and non-residents alike. The maintenance on this well is performed by the Department of Public Works with all costs paid for by the Northville Rotary Club. The Northville Rotary well is tested on a quarterly basis. There are occasions when this testing and other maintenance requires that the well be shut down. If you go for water at this location and find that it is temporarily out of order, you may contact the Department of Public Works at 248-449-9930 to find out when it is expected to be operational again.
