A. It is the fundraising component of the Rotary Point at West Bay Park development. The seven Rotary Clubs in Thurston County (Capital Centennial, Hawks Prairie, Lacey, Olympia, South Puget Sound, West Olympia and Tumwater) are developing a portion of the 16 acre site that is to become West Bay Park. The Rotary Clubs are doing this so that the public can enjoy some the area now instead of having to wait years for the full development of the park.
