What is the Roller Shade material?
The Solar Shade Material is made of several layers of clear polyester film better know as Mylar Film. The inner layers of the polyester film are coated with precious metals, to provide the solar heat rejection, UV blocking, and material color etc… These layers are permanently laminated together, and as in the embossed style the materials given a texture. These roller shades are not made of a weave or screen, nor a material that has little holes to allow light to pass through, it is a film material.
