What is the role of The Steve Sinnott Foundation in all this?
The Steve Sinnott Foundation is acting as both a conduit for volunteers, by passing their details to ourselves at MCWFN (UK) and for funding. They effectively act as “piggy in the middle”, by arranging funding via third parties, with whom they have very good contacts. However, whilst we have funding this year via SSF, this is not guaranteed beyond the existing projects and part of our agreement, is that future projects have to be self-sustainable, hence our requirement for ongoing fundraising ourselves and via volunteers raising donations.
