What is the role of the Schools Commissioner in relation to Trusts?
The Schools Commissioner will have an important role to play in promoting choice and diversity in the system. As part of this wider role he will act as a champion of Trust schools, particularly in disadvantaged areas, by identifying suitable partners and facilitating the matching up of schools with those partners.
