The success or failure of orthodontic treatment very much depends upon the patient’s motivation and cooperation. Once the appliance is given to the patient it is her/his responsibility to take care of it and to follow the instructions given by the doctors. If the patient does not take care and does not follow the instructions the treatment result cannot be what is desired and planned for.
