What is the role of the parent or home facilitator?
• to ensure a learning space is provided and help the student establish a learning schedule and routine • to guide lessons daily and to clarify directions • to encourage and model good work habits • to encourage the writing process, from draft through editing, proofreading, and final good copy • to ensure assignments are submitted for evaluation frequently and on a regular basis
