What is the Role of the LCC House System?
Building upon past traditions, and incorporating the successful Advisory groups, the House system is designed to provide a comprehensive framework for promoting and rewarding student participation at all levels. All students from Junior School to Grade 12/Pre-U Year are involved in inter-house competition covering the full range of LCC activities: academics, arts/cultural activities, and community service. Membership in houses fosters school spirit, a real sense of belonging, mentoring opportunities, and closer personal relationships with students in higher or lower grades.
