Field advocates are specially trained and appointed lay persons, deacons, and priests throughout the Archdiocese who assist petitioners in presenting a case to the Tribunal. The field advocate conducts a personal interview with the petitioner, helps in the preparation of the petitioner’s formal petition and insures that the forms and other data are complete. She/he will answer any pertinent questions.
