WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE EARLY CHILDHOOD TEAM OR PUPIL EVALUATION TEAM MEMBERS?
The teams are responsible for: • reviewing existing evaluations, observations by team members and classroom performance data; • recommending additional evaluations; • determining the extent to which the student’s disability affects his/her educational performance; • developing, reviewing and revising IFSP’s or IEP’s; • determining the least restrictive educational alternative in which to implement the student’s IFSP or IEP; and • determining placement.
