What is the role of the Brain in keeping homeostasis in a human body?

brain is the master control center of all bodily functions. so whatever your body is doing or feeling, the brain gets that info and decide what to respond to it. For example, if you are cold, the neurons in your skin will pass this info to the brain and your brain will adjust your body to become homoeostatic again (meaning tells your muscles to constrict and start shivering, and grab a coat or move closer to a heat source). Also your brain releases a number of “stimulating hormones” and tells what other hormones in the body should behave so that it is homoeostatic. Ex: the follicle stimulating hormone is crucial to the menstrual cycle. Long story short, brain can keep homoeostasis by maintaining regular functions so your body is doing what it should be doing, and if anything happens in the outside environment, your body will make the correct response to counteract it.
