What is the role of the Board of Governors?
The Board of Governors, previously known as the Civic Theatres Commission, was created by the City Council in 1993. This body reviews and advises the Theatres Director and City Council on fiscal issues, including fundraising, developing support liaisons, public advocacy and information, general program policies and procedures.
