Rural Alberta’s Development Fund operates arms length from government. The Board has a contract with the provincial government to disburse the $100 million it received in accordance with the RADF’s business plan. RADF provides regular reports to the Government of Alberta on how its activities are contributing to the growth and development of rural Alberta. In addition there are three government Ex Officio observers connected to the Board.
