What is the role of the agency coordinator?
An agency coordinator shall be appointed by the head of each participating agency to serve as liaison between the agency, the suggester, the agency evaluator and the NCThinks office. The duties of the agency coordinator include: • Work in conjunction with the agency evaluator to process a suggestion within 180 days, except when there are extenuating circumstances • Facilitate the implementation of adopted suggestions • Assure the documentation of benefits resulting from adopted suggestions • Establish and maintain the agency’s internal NCThinks records • Arrange and conduct suitable award ceremonies • Represent the department at State Review Committee meetings • Promote employee participation in NCThinks within the department. The agency head may appoint an NCThinks committee to assist in any or all of the above responsibilities. The agency head will determine the size and membership of such a committee.
