What is the role of technology on the development of Business Labs?
In each phase we integrate the use of new technologies like the Internet through e.g. the Global Development Learning Network of the World Bank that maintains Distant Learning Centers in many countries of the region. Together with these centers we organized a first set of two videoconferences, Leadership Link where representatives of the public and private sector and non-profit organizations who are working in the field of youth entrepreneurial development exchange their experiences and their expectations of a clearing station like the Young Americas Business Trust. Using this as an analysis of necessity, we also consider videoconferences as a very convenient element of the later training period both on the regional as also national level. Currently we are in contact with two communication networks in Ecuador and one in Peru, which are willing to provide the infrastructure for the diffusion of the contents of our training sessions.
