What is the role of my mentor?
You will be assigned a mentor who will assist you during your academic study. Your mentor will help you with selecting your academic courses and in-house DIA training seminars, assisting with in-processing logistics, introducing you to other agency officials and generally being a sounding board. You will also have a supervisor and sponsor for your summer work assignment. They will orient you to your specific office and the agency, provide guidance on how to perform your specific work duties and generally answer questions you may have.
