A. Local Bodies are responsible for proper treatment and safe disposal of Municipal Solid Waste and sewerage as per the law and as per the standards laid down. They need to take consent of GPCB and run these facilities as per the norms laid down. They need to properly attend to the complaints from the public with regard to disposal of sewerage and solid waste.
