What is the role of Managers/Supervisors during the transition period?
Managers/Supervisors should do the following: • Familiarize themselves with the Competencies Program and the transition process in order to answer general questions from their staff • Coach and encourage their staff in dealing with the change that will take place as a part of the transition • Encourage employees to become more knowledgeable about the Competencies Program and to ask questions if they are not clear • Work with their HR Rep / DBS to ensure that employee-level mapping is accurate
