What is the role of HMC in telemedicine?
HMC is a telemedicine service provider known as a “Health Care Clearinghouse”. Part of our mission is to receive, process, and format your profile and medical records and to present them to telemedicine health care professionals for treatment consideration. We also maintain member consultation scheduling; physician and physicians assistant availabilities; patient billing; and transmission of your treatment information to pharmacy affiliates and other health care providers for your treatment. back to top 13.
