What is the role of Heads of Schools in the new structure?
Whilst the Heads of Colleges (see section C) will be responsible for the overall strategy of each College, the Heads of Schools will retain line managerial responsibility for School staff, helping to ensure the smooth transition to the new academic structures. Heads of Schools will also retain their current key role in ensuring the success of all aspects of their School and that the School delivers a positive contribution to the overall success of the College and University. Heads of Schools or Institutes will be accountable to Heads of Colleges.
