OSP is the only office authorized to submit research proposals to external sponsors on behalf of the President and Fellows of Harvard College and its faculty members. In collaboration with KSG faculty PIs and the Research Administration Office, OSP also negotiates all award terms and conditions, and officially signs and accepts awards on behalf of the President and Fellows of Harvard College.
