What is the role of glyconutrients in cellular communication ?
To maintain a healthy body, cells must “talk” to each other. All cells have receptors on their surface that allow cells to communicate with each others. These receptors are made up of glyconutrients and proteins (glycoproteins) and glyconutrients and fats (glycolipids), which create the ability for cells to signal, touch and connect with other cells to communicate. The glycoproteins and glycolipids are like the letters and words of the language between cells in our body, sending messages for defense and help.
