What is the role of CSC, Bangalore GPO?
The Customer Service Centre will be a accounting office. It will be able to keep track of the transactions made on a day to day basis. CSC Dak Bhavan will be sending the file containing daily transactions everyday and the Circle CSC will be able to know office wise transactions position on a daily basis. It will also take care of reconciliation in case of discrepancies. It will coordinate with the Pc based and fax based offices in the Circle and will render necessary help in case of need. The CSC will maintain a database of the account no, Terminal IDs, OP IDs and OP passwords for reference and investigation purpose.
