What is the role of an External Verifier?
An External Verifier’s role is to help ensure that those involved in the planning, delivery and assessment of qualifications maintain the national standard of qualifications awarded by the IRRV. External Verifiers have a clear commitment to ensuring and improving quality and will therefore advise centres on best practice for delivering and administering N/SVQs and are a key source of information, whether you are an existing centre or wish to set up your own assessment centre or consortium.
