What is the role of Agency Bulkload Liaisons?
Agency Bulkload Liaisons have technical proficiency and working knowledge of their agency’s interface to the current Central Accounting System (CAS) . Through workshops and knowledge transfer, Agency Bulkload Liaisons are teaming with OSC to analyze the current bulkload process that transmits financial information to the CAS. At the first workshop in July 2008, the Bulkload Liaisons reviewed the FOCAS Project’s future interface strategy, identified current and future challenges, and reviewed plans for designing , building, testing and certifying Agency interfaces for the new CAS. As part of OSC’s interface development plan, Agency Bulkload Liaisons will provide continued guidance on their agency’s data transmission needs and will work with OSC to ensure any required changes to the Agency bulkload are provided for their Agency prior to going live with new CAS.
