What is the role of a “translating language” in learning the language of the Quran?
The role of the “translating language” is very temporary. At the initial stage, while learning a new language we need the help of a known language to act as a medium. But, once we grasp the new language, we do not need the help of the “translating language”. As for example, those who speak and understand a foreign language fluently, do not need the help of the mother language to interpret or to understand the second language. Here, we will use English as the “translating language” to create a bridge to the language of the Quran. Very soon, inshallah, one will find travelling around the language and grammar of the Holy Quran is not that tough.
