What is the role of a sponsor?
In general, the learner will have secured the necessary approvals to enter the program from their employer. Many employers will therefore be the sponsor and will, through the creation of a Learning Agreement, provide the learner with the support and mentorship necessary to complete the program. However, it is not mandatory to have a sponsor.
