This Functional Specification will advise the Technical Specification from OMG. The technical spec will be much less “vanilla” as we seek to define the parameters of implementation. The technical specification will in turn be used to issue an RFP to industry through the OMG organization. Regarding RLUS revisions, it is fairly clear that RLUS will continue to be a work in progress and that future versions will be influenced by a whole host of issues. We take this notion as a mark of success because it would mean that RLUS will be around for a while and that it is enervating people to come to the table.
