What is the right reflector for a retro-reflective sensor?

0

The sensing ranges of most retro-reflective sensors in the Festo range are measured with the largest reflector SOEZ-RFS-80. However, they can be used with any other reflector. As a rule, the smaller the reflector is, the shorter the sensing range will be. SOEZ-RFL-… are reflectors for laser retro-reflective sensors (SOEL-RSP-…). They have smaller prisms, and therefore offer a higher degree of precision when detecting at distances of up to 1 m. Generally, SOEZ-RFL-… can also be used with red-light retro-reflective sensors (SOEG-RSP-…).
